The Met Office forecast - which was accurate today - is predicting heavy rain between 9 and 11. I will therefore not walk to the ferry and will drive to the West Town car park for 10.15 to see who turns up!
We'll catch the 10.45 ferry from Hayling and walk 2½ miles along the Southsea promenade along to Southsea pier where we'll stop for lunch at the Deep Blue restaurant on the pier, renowned for its fish and chips.
We'll then walk back to the ferry.
You have several options for getting to the ferry. If you'd like to walk, let Andy know and we'll try to organise a group starting from, say, Beachlands. If you need a car, or are able to offer a lift, again, let Andy know and he'll try to arrange a car share to the ferry starting from the West Town car park, as usual. Otherwise, use any method you like to get to the start point at the ferry (either side).
